Being “huge culture and music people” their "Afro-modern eclectic" style weaves together fine art, black culture, and music with vibrancy and joy. Basquiat prints adorn every corner of the apartment and have been the primary color inspiration for their home. With Joy's passion for architecture and design and Kent's talent for hospitality, they're able to create an atmosphere for their guests that's energizing and comfortable, simultaneously. One of our favorites zones is the music corner, focused around three floating shelves that display records as works of art, an Ikea cabinet painted red, and moody accent lighting. Joy puts on the perfect record and you're immediately invited to drink in the vibes.
