TRIP REPORT | Perfect Long-Haul on Qatar Airways A380! | Doha to Bangkok | QATAR AIRWAYS Airbus A380

Qatar Airways Trip Report flying from Doha to Bangkok onboard one of the Qatar Airways A380 on a beautiful winter night in Qatar and morning in Thailand. A very comfortable flight onboard the Qatar Airways Airbus A380 from Doha to Bangkok. This was my first time flying on the Qatar Airways A380 and I must say it's a great plane, like any other A380 I've flown to date. However, I felt that the other A380 had more legroom than this one. I'm not saying it wasn't good, but the legroom could be better. Doha Hamad International Airport has been awarded several times as the best airport in the world, and the truth is that it's an amazing one. I hope I was able to show you how big, how amazing, and how beautiful this airport is on the Trip Report. One thing that I really like about this airport is that it's full of sculptures and other type of decorations. We took off from Doha towards the north. After a brief and nice view of the city, we turned right towards the Persian Gulf, heading to Abu Dhabi. We crossed the UAE and Oman and finally entered the Indian Ocean, flying towards the south of Karachi. We enjoyed the Sunrise when we entered India. We crossed all India from west to the east, and finally entered the Gulf of Bengal, flying already towards Thailand. However, we overflew another country before entering Thailand, and that was Myanmar. The Yangon area was really nice from the sky. After that, We started our descent towards Bangkok, where we landed on time after a very interesting approach over Bangkok's outskirts. About the onboard service, just after takeoff, and when almost all the plane was already sleeping, the crew offered a cold chicken & gouda sandwich with drinks. Already with daylight, around 2h before landing, the crew offered the main service. I went for the chicken curry with rice (when you don't know what to choose, that's always a safe bet). It came with some fresh fruit, yogurt, and bread. Drinks were, of course, included as well. All in all, a nice experience with Qatar Airways on this first trip I made to Thailand... but could be better if we hadn't have had a completely scratched and dirty window: ours was the one that all jetbridges touch at every airport, so makes sense that it would be in a terrible condition. Remember, seat 48A is not a good option because of that. Unless you get a very new plane, the window won't look nice. 47 or 49 are much better. Now it's your turn!
