After spending hours shopping around Blackburn Town Centre suchas River Island, Primark, Pound Shop, New Look & Morrisons. The day finished with food from Spicy Hut in Oldham and the first thing that stood out was how incredible the food looked when it came out. The presentation had us excited before we even took the first bite. We ordered a mix of the house box and the loaded box and there was plenty of food inside. Visually everything looked fresh well packed and full of flavour. When it came to taste the smash burger was disappointing as it was only a single patty and felt more like a basic cheeseburger than a proper smash burger. The real highlight for me was the doner meat which had a really nice marinade and delivered on flavour far more than I expected. My nephews were not fully satisfied and felt a bit disappointed overall giving the meal a five out of ten. It really showed how food can look amazing but not always live up to expectations once you taste it.
