Without the dealers OE tool that they are usually unwilling to sell and when they do, charge around $750 for, it is impossible to know if you are having oil pressure problems, because your truck has no way to know if the pressure is low. Easier than an oil change – perfect for diagnosing low pressure issues, checking oil pump/bearings/tensioners, or pre-purchase inspections.
