This series of online tutorials, brought to you by Sight and Sound Technology is aimed at parents/guardians, students, teachers, Visiting Teachers, QTVIs and Special Needs Assistants, to help every student get the most from their BrailleSense 6 device. We have picked what we think are the essential features for school, but, if something isn’t covered, we’ll have plenty of time in each session for your questions as well. Session 1: Introduction and file management Thursday 14th September at 8:00 pm In this session we’ll introduce the BrailleSense 6, talk about the hardware, the software, some key things to know, give you an overview of the available applications and, we’ll delve a little into the device’s built-in file manager, to explore not only how to manage files on the device itself, but also to connect to cloud services.
