Access Loop Types & Relevant Literature Review 8 Live Sx - EHBDR, Roux-en-Y HJ & Access Loop This was a case of - 62 Years / Male, No Known Co-Morbidity, No Sx - Presented to the Emergency Dept. with - C/O: x 05 Months - Pain Abdomen, SOJ - Clay Coloured Stools & High Coloured Urine - Fever - Chills & Rigors - Altered Mental Status. USG & MRI was suggestive of – Diffusion Restriction - Seg VI & VII: 4-5 mm- Residual Chlnagitic abscess GB Distended with Multiple signal Voids CD - 13 mm, multiple signal voids + LHD 16.2 mm, RPSD 7 mm, RHD 10 mm- Abrupt Cut off at confluence CBD 20 mm - Multiple signal voids + Multiple signal voids, 4-5 mm, up to first-level branches Stent - Could not be commented i/v/o extensive lithiasis We managed this patient with IV antibiotics followed by ERCP stenting and definitive surgery – EHBDR with HJ & Access loop creation. We have divided this series into theoretical discussions followed by live surgery. We hope the surgery trainees will find this video useful and may be able to learn a few tricks of the trade.
