Deep in the mountains of Montana there is a ghost town called Garnet, use to be an entire town community, not just a man camp/ mining camp. This was a small but bustling town with a 3-floor hotel, multiple saloons, a blacksmith shop and a general wears store with many of the items that would have been sold still on the tables on the main floor. Other than the 3-4 buildings in the welcome center (which was in the last Garnet Video) this is just about the rest of the Ghost town. Went through the General store with many original sale items still displayed on the floor, while a chipmunk runs up to see what I was up to before running off. Also a walking tour through the hotel out the back through the kitchen, then through the walking path that goes to the rest of the houses on the hill, while taking special interest in the old blacksmithing shop. A beautiful fall day for a walking tour.
