After 5 years of DIY evenings and weekends, we finally said goodbye to our cosy little Victorian flat — our first proper home. It needed a full overhaul (we’re pretty sure it hadn’t been touched since the 60s), and while there weren’t many original features left, we tried to bring back some of that character on a super tight budget. It was always meant to be a stepping stone, so we kept things neutral with resale in mind — but still made it feel like us. Now we've moved in to our new home (hopefully our forever home). We're so excited about this 1930s Tudor revival house with so much potential (and a bit of a smoke smell 😂). There’s a lot to do — weird kitchen layout, junk rooms, endless dust — but we’re so excited to take it on.
