Since the release of the Madman Across The Water album Levon has been a fan favorite for Elton’s audiences world wide. This performance which I was asked to do a video for was unknown to me but in my estimation may be one of the best performances of this song live that is out there. Elton’s playing is superb, out of almost 7,500 key strikes I only noticed two very minor mistakes in this almost 10 minute performance! In the key of F most of Levon is actually fairly simple and straightforward but of course when the band does the jam section it gets a little more intense. Taking the hands separately and slowly with a metronome will be a huge help when trying to learn these various right hand patterns. I am planning on doing videos on most of these in the future so stay tuned! With this MIDI file you can also trigger a *sheet music application, slow down/speed up piano part without quality loss, change the key of the song, loop difficult sections, and much more!
