D'Addario's recent debut of their new XT coated strings made a lot of buzz when it was announced. I was in the market for a set of long lasting coated acoustic guitar strings so I thought I'd give them a shot. The company claims that they sound as good as uncoated strings and so I figured I'd test it out.
