What exactly happened that morning is described on a parchment roll from the collection of Ets Haim. Curator Heide tells us all about it. The oldest active Jewish library in the world is located right here in Amsterdam, on the Mr. Visserplein. Since the 17th century, Ets Haim been collecting all sorts of interesting stories.
