About 400 dancers, 2,000 participants from 15 countries and teams including Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Mongolia, Russia, Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, Singapore, Kazakhstan, and Korea, participated in the IDO WDF, which consisted of competition, gala, conference, and tour programs. . IDOWDF is sponsored by the Korea Tourism Organization and is held every August during the vacation period in Korea from 2023 to 2025 as part of the K-Convention project. In 2024, IDO Korea plans to hold competitions and gala performances on separate dates so as not to be pressed for time.
