After the grand finale, Gilli returned to his hometown Dadapura near Malavalli in Mandya district. What followed was nothing short of a festival. Thousands of fans gathered to welcome their hero with a massive 7-kilometer roadshow from Dandina Maramma Temple to Dadapura. Fans showered him with garlands, draped him in a Kannada shawl, and crowned him with a traditional peta. Riding in an open vehicle, Gilli thanked fans at every stop. His famous dialogue “Takare Takare Tamte Eetu Malavalli Jana Ultimate” echoed across the streets, sending fans into a frenzy.
