His expertise in grand strategy and international relations provides a solid theoretical foundation for the game. Dr. Chris Oates, PhD – US Expert Lecturer at Boston University, founder of Two Lanterns Advisory and political risk consultant. With a PhD in International Relations from the University of Oxford, Dr. Oates brings his expertise in US foreign policy, ensuring the game accurately reflects the complexities of American influence on the global stage. Dr. Russell Foster – EU Expert Lecturer at King’s College London, specializing in European Studies. His work explores the EU as a continuation of historical empire theories, adding depth to World Order’s portrayal of European geopolitics. Dr. Connor Judge – China Expert Researcher and lecturer in Chinese Studies at the University of Botswana. With a PhD from SOAS, University of London, he contributes his knowledge of China’s geopolitical rise, making the game’s depiction of the country authentic and nuanced. Varnavas Timotheou – Founder, Co-Designer Varnavas, founder and CEO of Hegemonic Project Games and the visioner behind Hegemony and World Order, holds a BA in International Politics, an MA in International Political Economy, and an MBA with distinction. Passionate about making global issues accessible through gaming, he co-designed Hegemony and World Order to blend education and entertainment, encouraging critical thinking about world affairs.
