On February 13, 2026, ‪@trumanheritagehabitatforhu7795‬ Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity gathered with community leaders, volunteers, and supporters for a meaningful House Blessing celebration in Raytown. The ceremony opened with remarks from Christina Leakey, President & CEO, highlighting the impact of affordable housing and community partnership. The home was formally blessed by Anthony Mondaine Sr. of First Christian Church of Independence, offering words of faith, encouragement, and hope for the family’s future. This special home was made possible through the generous support of donors Bob Gilham and Lois Gilham, whose commitment to service helped turn a dream into reality. Also featured in this video are remarks from Mike McDonough, Mayor of Raytown, and Crystal Martinez, Family Services Director, who shared reflections on the importance of stable housing and community support. This House Blessing represents more than a new home, it reflects the power of partnership, generosity, and compassion in building stronger families and neighborhoods.
