While tradition has its place, any teaching that adds to or contradicts Scripture must be examined carefully in the light of God’s Word. My concern is not to attack individuals, but to defend biblical truth and remind teachers and believers alike that our faith must be built only on what is written in the Bible (2 Timothy 4:1). Teachings that elevate human tradition above Scripture can slowly lead people away from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In this discussion, I specifically address and challenge what I believe to be counterfeit teachings coming from: Memhr Filmon (Quinat Media) Yeneta Tibebu (Fikrey Shibwo Channel) Using Scripture alone, I explain why Wuddase Maryam—as it is currently taught—does not align with the biblical message of salvation, grace, and Christ-centered worship. My goal is to call the Tewahdo Orthodox Eritrean–Ethiopian people back to the Word of God, not to religion, tradition, or emotional devotion, but to the truth that sets us free (John 8:32).
