6 Days in the Gila Wilderness

We spent 6 days backpacking through the Gila Wilderness. We entered through Little Bear Canyon to the Middle Fork of the Gila River. We passed the Jordan Hot Springs and camped our first night in the canyon. Day 2 had us passing The Meadows and climbing to the top of the mesa to Prior Cabin where we spent our 2nd night. Temps that 3rd morning got down to 13 degrees fahrenheit. We hiked through Lily Park and down to the West Fork of the Gila River and stayed the night at White Creek Cabin. We spent the next 2 days hiking down the West Fork, past Hell's Hole and eventually back to the car.
