Video recording on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, a partially overcast fall morning. I went to the northwest part of the Island, to a forested area on the edge of Senneville's third peninsula, with an excellent view of both lakeside directions. I flew eastwards to the highway bridge along the Lake of Two Mountains and to Cadieux Island. The partly cloudy sky offered a unique and magnificent interplay of light and shadow. The return to the starting point was marked by strong headwinds reaching 53 km/h, which significantly drained the battery, making the flight extremely difficult. DJI's Mavic 4 Pro, a 2nd generation tri-camera drone, is a highly reliable and smooth flyer. It is very responsive and precise to the control sticks and is a high-speed, robust quad with outstanding video recording capabilities. Its communication link is reliable, and its remote-FPV image is crisp. At 50 m of altitude, the wind was blowing at 31 Kph, with gusts of up to 53 Kph, and the ground temperature was 4 degrees C (40 degrees F).
