How to Break Through the Feeling that God Doesn't Really Love You | Malachi 1:2-5

In this first video of our new series through the six disputes in the book of Malachi, we begin where God begins—with His love. In Malachi 1:2–5, God declares to Israel, “I have loved you,” yet their response is heartbreaking: “How have You loved us?” God answers by pointing to His covenant faithfulness—choosing the lineage of Jacob to fulfill His redemptive plan and ultimately bring forth the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ. This opening dispute reveals something deeply important: 👉 Doubt was the root of Israel’s spiritual decline. Their questioning of God’s love led to complacency, misplaced priorities, and eventually the sins God confronts throughout the rest of the book. In this video, we pause to do some honest self-reflection. 🕊️ I encourage you to spend quiet time with the Lord and ask: -Have I ever doubted God’s love, faithfulness, or goodness? -Have I allowed feelings to shape my faith instead of truth? -Are there small doubts taking root that need to be addressed before they grow?
