The Voxon VX2 is a true volumetric display – it doesn’t simulate 3D on a flat screen, it physically creates it. Using a high-speed rotating LED matrix and advanced volumetric rendering, the VX2 generates up to 8 million voxels per volume and refreshes 30 full 3D volumes every second. What you’re seeing isn’t a visual trick… it’s light existing in real space. Unlike VR or 3D glasses, no headset or tracking is required. When a group of people gathers around a VX2, each person sees the content from their own unique perspective. 📌 Display Volume: 256 mm diameter × 256 mm height (10.1" × 10.1") 📌 Technology: VLED platform – directly renders volumetric data 📌 Refresh Rate: 30 volumes per second @ 900 rpm 📌 Inputs: OBJ, PLY, STL, FBX, GLTF/GLB, Unity SDK, C++ SDK 📌 Use Cases: medical imaging, simulation, data visualisation, gaming, education, digital art We’ve become used to flattening 3D data onto 2D screens and asking people to mentally reconstruct it. The VX2 does the opposite – it renders content using the same spatial coordinate system it was created in. If the data is 3D, why throw away one of the dimensions? 👀 In this video, you’ll see: Live content rendered directly into physical space How volumetric data appears from multiple viewpoints Real-time interaction with a fully 3D scene 🎮 All content shown is running locally, in real time.
