East-West Line Shutdown 2025 Showcase - Shuttle Trains, Shuttle Buses and More!

To facilitate the connection of the East-West Line and the new East-Coast Integrated Depot (ECID), there will be no train service between Bedok and Tampines, and between Tanah Merah and Expo, from 29 November 2025 to 8 December 2025. After the shutdown, the new platform at Tanah Merah will open and the old (current) eastbound platform will be closed off from the East-West Line, preparing for future Thomson East-Coast Line operations. Depot operations will likely be moved to ECID, and Changi Depot will likely be deploying its last trains. In this video, we will ride the shuttle trains between Bedok and Paya Lebar, Pasir Ris and Tampines, and Expo and Changi Airport.
