The New MINI Family is Taking Shape The British brand, MINI, has unveiled the Concept Aceman – a first look at its model generation’s new design. This concept car features design-based and technological innovations that reflect MINI’s approach to driving pleasure. Topping it off is an all-electric drive and a commitment to minimal environmental impact with no leather or chrome materials used. The arrival of the concept car also marks the addition of MINI Cooper’s iconic three-door body to the premium small cars segment for the first time ever. “The MINI Concept Aceman provides an initial glimpse of a completely new vehicle, bridging the space between the MINI Cooper and the MINI Countryman in the model family’s future,” says Stefanie Wurst, Head of the MINI Brand. Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design added that this concept car ushers in a new design era for MINI: “We are returning to these [MINI design icons], but at the same time consistently combining them with innovative technology”. Furthering this idea is clear and reduced exterior and interior designs as well as an immersive digital experience featuring light components, seamless OLED displays and sound design elements not seen on any previous models. All of these items combined create an unmistakably unique interior feel for users – one with modern luxuriousness and classic appeal.
