From January 7-11, 2004, Laura brilliantly and touchingly performed, unbeknownst to all, her very last concerts with her band at the Cabaret Theater at Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT. After expressing her love for her fans, her "other half," Laura sang the brilliant and beautifully touching ballad "I Know You by Heart," a song that she had recorded for her new album that she was working on at the time of her passing. As Laura would often say, this song is for "those who have loved and lost," and she sang it in dedication to her late husband, Larry.
