FULL WALKING TOUR along the beach in Pefkochori (during the day)

Walking tour starts from the center of the town. We first visit left side of the coast, and then the right side. In video you can see that the beach in the center of the town is very narrow, but when you walk towards its sides, the beach starts to wider. On the left side can be windy, but this side has less and less swimmers and visitors as you go further towards Polichrono (smaller town before Pefkochori). From that side there are more villas and cafés, and the beach looks more intimate. The water is clear, beach is wide, and you can put your umbrella and enjoy on the sand, if you don't want to pay laying beds and umbrellas in the cafe. To us seemed that the sea is a little bit deeper here, but this is just our subjective feeling. In this part of the beach there is the entrance gate for disabled persons. Here you also have water sports renting spot, as well as water trampoline for the kids. Right side is more built with houses and at the end of the street there is one beautiful complex of café on the beach, accommodation, restaurant, water sports, etc. The beach here is wide enough and you can find the spot on the beach even in the rushing hour. This was our favorite part of the beach during our staying. Water is clear no matter the number of the visitors. It is not as shallow as in Kalithea, but it is good enough for younger children to enjoy in the water, under parents' supervision of course. When you continue more towards the right side, there is wild beach.
