Summer Yellow Blue Ankara Inspired Makeup Tutorial | Youkeyy

Hey guys, it's Youkeyy again! Back with an ankara inspired makeup tutorial perfect for summer or spring and filled with all the melanin, glow, highlight and contour that I could manage to squeeze out lol. I forgot to mention in the video but although I had seen this look all over instagram, this idea was originally done by Dimma Umeh here on Youtube. The yellow tone eyeshadow from Morphe Brushes 35B palette and the metallic blue lips from Anastasia Beverly Hills meshed perfectly together. This look is woc, brown skin, and dark skin friendly. I tied the ankara headwrap in a random way, I could not even remember exactly how I did it the first time so unfortunately I did not record that. For those who may not know what ankara is, it is a type of fabric also known as african print or holland wax worn by many africans and usually has very colorful and vibrant patterns. In Nigeria this fabric is known as ankara fabric but may be designated different names in other African nations.
