The Fascinating World of Vehicle Crashworthiness | Omer Masood | TEDxGIKI

Dr.Omer Masood is a graduate of Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology and is the Founder of Automotive Design and Crash-worthiness Research(ADCR).In his talk, he explains the reasons behind automotive accidents and explains vehicle crashworthiness, and also gives the highlight of tackling road accidents. Dr.Omer Masood is a graduate of Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology. Dr.Omer has authored Pakistan National Highways and Motorways Dimensional Rules of Goods Transport vehicles. He is also one of the leading crash investigators in Pakistan and has been part of several national level investigations for the Government of Pakistan. In 2019 Dr. Omer founded Automotive Design and Crash-worthiness Research (ADCR), the only facility in Pakistan for crash investigations and road crash safety solution. He is also a painter, designer and a member of music band Sarkash. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
