Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined is Not what i would call Reimagined or Remade, Rather just a HD Remaster with Nothing Much Changed and Still Very Dated with a Very Slow Pace and Gameplay Loop to the Point its Boring and Tedious. If You Played the Original then there is No Real Point in Playing this a part from Better Visuals. As an RPG its Not Great in General, Even back when the Original came out compared to other RPG Games, The Original came out in Japan 2000 / 2001 then Remade in 2013, Later came out on Mobile in 2015, And the English Version came out in 2016. But Compared to other RPG Games around that Time like Final Fantasy 7 to 9, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Suikoden, Pokemon and More, This Game Falls Flat in Comparison and the same can be said Today with this Reimagined Version. I Even Cut Out A Lot of Tedious Trekking and Padding and Slow Boring Gameplay from this Video to reduce the Video's Runtime, About 30 minutes Worth. This Video Shows You Pretty Much how the Game Looks and how it Plays in General along with its Slow Pacing. Plenty of other RPG Games in recent Years and this Year 2026 which will be More Deserving of your Time. Wait for a Sale if you are Desperate BUT in my Opinion its Not Worth Your Time.
