In this video, I show you a few of the Grimoires that have had a great influence on other Grimoires throughout history. This is a list of essentials that you need to know about if you're starting out with Magic and are getting curious about where most of the sigils and incantations, and rituals have their origins, particularly for Solomonic magic. I didn't mention St Cyprian, as I've not found his work has been particulalry influential outside of his iberic region, though I'd be happy to be shown the error of my thinking, however, I did omit Trithemius and his "Art of Drawing Spirits into Crystals" which was hugely influential on the whole of western magic (I'm looking forward to Scarlet Imprint's upcoming book on the subject).
