Due to a temporary shortage of serviceable R68/A-type subway cars for the afternoon rush hour, this train of R46s was pressed into service on the B line. Here we see several views of this train running on the B line all over the city! This is an excellent example of resourceful, creative, and smart service management strategies employed to ensure good service for the riding public! It’s also quite unusual, as R46s have not operated on the B line in recent times. Enjoy!
