Hey all, I've been cooking this up for a while now, and I can't believe the magnitude it has grown into. This is the biggest piece of music I've written. I had no plan while starting this, so this may be akin to musical vomit — just pure organic music without thought — but I hope you still enjoy! This is music for music's sake and there is no story, though my writing may have been influenced by day-to-day events and emotions. This is just a first draft, and there are many many errors in notation and playability but I think all of my ideas are there. I'm eager to hear your thoughts about not only the music, but how I can improve my writing style! I am 19 and have been writing music since summer, 2020. I have had no formal training in music theory or composition and I learn mostly from listening to pieces and miscellaneous YouTube videos. I am still looking to find my own style and this piece serves more to practice and showcase my current writing skill rather than a refined piece of art that has meaning.
