Washington DC Vlog | DC with toddlers | Utilizing the Metro | Old Town Alexandria | Museums

Okay so this was a work trip for my husband. The kids, my brother and I tagged along. This was filmed in December 2025 and it was absolutely FREEZING. Mind you the feel like temp was 1 degree I believe. I remember contemplating which was worse- sitting in the hotel room with my 2 kids.. or going out into the cold. But I go stir crazy so I stayed out as much as possible. I swear we weren’t eating the entire trip haha. The only times it was convenient for me to pull my phone out to record was while we were either sitting in a restaurant or on the metro. I have to say despite the cold temps- DC is a wonderful city. Very kid friendly. Metros were easy to utilize even with a double stroller. We didn’t have a car so we opted to stay near a metro so we could get around easily. We stayed in Old Town Alexandria where my husbands office was located. It was a beautiful little town and you could easily make a trip out of just visiting there. Highly recommend!! I wish I could have vlogged more this trip but honestly my hands were freezing and I was pushing a stroller most of the time so it was kinda hard lol. Since we went in December, there were lots of holiday events happening hence the holiday market I showed a glimpse of. Thanks for watching!
