Guide Updates: ▶ The better morph for the restoration staff ability "grand healing" is now "healing springs" and no longer "illustrious healing" ▶ The better morph for the destruction staff ability "weakness to elements" is now "elemental susceptibility" and no longer "elemental drain". The magicka sustain the other morph provides is no longer needed and gets beaten by all the damage increasing debuffs elemental susceptibility applies to the enemy. ▶ The ritual mundus stone will beat the thief mundus stone for healers in healing output ▶ A crusher enchant on your backbar can help your group massively because of the extra penetration it provides. The tank normally uses one but since the enchant is single target it will not always hit the right target and you won't have it on everything with just the tank using it. Adding a second one will not completely solve this issue but will definitely help. You can still use a weapon damage enchant on the front bar. ▶ Healer gear that provides sustain is no longer as needed as it used to be and sets like for example "worm's rainment" that only give one type of resource do not help as much anymore since the hybridization changes. Some nice examples for healer gear options are: Powerful Assault (boxes in the imperial sewers or guild stores), Master Architect (Halls of Fabrication trial), Pillagers Profit (Dreadsail Reef trial), Archdruid Devyric Monster set (Earthen Root Enclave dungeon), Magma Incarnate monster set (Dread Cellar dungeon), Spaulder of Ruin (Mythic), Spell Power Cure (White Gold Tower dungeon), Olorime (Cloudrest trial) ~ of course there are many other useful sets (Last updated for Patch: U40 ~ Endless Archives) This guide is supposed to be an overview to all the basics of healing in The Elder Scrolls Online. I purposely didn't go too much into details for specific situations and setups or classes. It is kept general to be easier to understand by healers who are just starting off without adding confusion due to too much detail.
