I hadn't even been aware that they MADE wine in Texas, but Texas Hill Country is full of vineyards and wineries and winemaking is a growing industry here. So I thought I'd treat myself to a spot of wine tasting to see if Texan wine is any good. I went to Signor Vineyards which is near Fredericksburg where I enjoyed a wine tasting and tried three of their Texan wines - two whites (one was a Sauvignon Blanc and the other was an Alberino) as well as a red made from the Tannat grape. This red wine has got so many anti-oxidants in it that it's almost a health drink!! Watch the video to come wine tasting with me to see what I thought of the wines and which was my favourite - would it be one of the white wines or the red? The bottles are priced between $40-$55...
