"Bullet" is taken from Pathway Pleasure's debut EP, Self Portrait, and it serves as an introduction to the album both literally and figuratively. The song's lyrics revolve around those immediate gut feelings that often accompany moments of distress and / or disillusionment, which, in this case, seem to allude to an unintended consequence of our protagonist's past actions which he now has to deal with. The situation then unravels throughout the song and, to a larger extent, the whole Self Portrait EP as he navigates the turbulent waters of inevitability, acceptance, and optimism. Pathway Pleasure enlisted Hadi Muhammad of fellow Mundane Records group Hira to direct this music video you're (hopefully) watching right now, and even though it is largely based upon the themes outlined above, Pathway Pleasure encourage you to come up with your own interpretation of the sound and vision presented.
