Welcome to the Water Technology Accelerator Platform (Water TAP) at Colorado State University Spur campus in Denver, Colorado! Water TAP is a first-of-its-kind living laboratory designed for plug-and-play testing of next-generation water technologies. Operated by CSU’s One Water Solutions Institute, Water TAP provides access to real-world water sources — including urban stormwater, roof runoff, graywater, industrial and municipal wastewaters, and raw surface water from the South Platte River. This virtual tour highlights: On-site stormwater collection from a 28-acre urban catchment Roof runoff capture and irrigation systems The GRETA graywater research platform Flexible storage for off-site and industrial water sources The Hydro “Backyard” living laboratory for nature-based solutions Indoor pilot-scale treatment and monitoring infrastructure Water TAP enables applied research, real-time monitoring, AI-enabled control strategies, regulatory readiness, and workforce development — all within a neutral, university-managed environment.
