Liseberg is an amusement park in Gothenburg Sweden and is a must visit when you are in Sweden. Liseberg is one of the best amusement parks in Europe. Flumeride is a water log flume where riders sit in boats shaped like logs. The track is 610 meter long and is home to 1,2 million liters of water. The ride has two drops and the top speed is 60 km/h. Flumeride opened in 1973 and turns 50 years when Liseberg celebrates 100 years which they will do in great fashion with a brand new area of the park called Luna Park. Luna Park will be home to Tempus, Turbo and a new rollercoaster called Luna. In 2006 an accident occured on Flumeride when a woman grabbed on to a fence above the last drop in panic. She fell out of the boat and slided down the drop. The next boat hit her in the head. Luckily the woman survived and rehabilitated in time.
