Grossing Biopsies | How to fold your biopsy paper

This is how I fold lens paper/biopsy paper when I'm grossing biopsies. This paper is a good alternative when you don't have a bag to pack your tissue in and wrapping or bagging tissue keeps it from falling out of cassettes during processing. There are lots of different ways of folding your paper from making clean neat folds to crumpling it up like a piece of used Kleenex. This technique is how I was taught and makes it easy for embedders to unwrap your tissue after processing.
