Here the main plot, and big baddies are introduced, setting a gritty, high stakes tone that Call of Duty Used to be known for. They NEVER shied away from showing the absolute brutality of armed conflict. This came out during a time where the US was heavily involved in conflict in the Middle East. We grew up hearing about it every day. But thats from the safety of having an ocean between us, and the violence. We were too young to understand, but this puts you right in the middle of it. Even vicariously, it really makes you feel the fear and uncertainty of being in Al-Fulani’s shoes. Infinity Ward really put a TON of effort into it.
