I explore Gammel Lejre

In this video I'm back in Lejre though not in the research center but around the village, where people have been living since the stoneage. I take a look at the area from the top of a couple of mounds of which there are plenty in the area, some from the bronze age, some later. I also take a look at some the excavated sites of buildings, a stone ship and more. In the part of the video where I look at and talk about the site of the buildings, I unfortunately switched iron age for viking age. So when I talk about the vikin age hall I am actually showing footage of the iron age hall and vice versa. Sotrrry for that. Also the weather was not too good, but it was the only day I had the opportunity to visit.
