Travel Dates: 16-18 December 2022 From Bergen, our next destination was Lofoten. Our route was Bergen to Oslo to Bodo to Lofoten via plane. Our choice of airport to land at was at Leknes Airport due to its proximity to Reine, where we will be staying. Reine and Hamnoy are two of the most picturesque and photographed villages in Norway. They are fishing villages, thus, the presence of rorbuers and hjells. Rorbuers or the red fisherman's cabins are abundant in the area. Traditionally, they are temporary shelter for fishermen during the fishing season.
