Heute bin ich alleine unterwegs zu einem leerstehenden Seniorenheim, das noch absolut frei von Vandalismus ist. Ursprünglich war es aber gar kein Altenheim, sondern eine Tuberkulose-Heilanstalt – in einer Zeit, als es noch keine entsprechenden Antibiotika gab. Die waldreiche Gegend war ideal für die Erholung der Atemwege, das Klima mild und das Städtchen einige Kilometer flußabwärts durfte sich mit dem Prädikat „Luftkurort“ schmücken. Aus einer ehemaligen Suchtklinik für Alkoholabhängige entstand hier vor fast 100 Jahren das erste Sanatorium für Lungenerkrankungen im Südwesten Deutschlands. Im zweiten Teil des Videos erkunden wir sowohl das Dachgeschoss als auch den Keller des Gebäudes und machen einige wirklich großartige Entdeckungen. Was z.B. versteckt sich in dem unscheinbaren braunen Koffer und was hat es mit der blauen Plastiktüte auf sich? Woher stammen all die Fliegen, die wir im ersten Teil gesehen haben? Und dann gibt es auch noch ein kleines Häuschen direkt nebenan, das wir natürlich ebenfalls erforschen wollen! Ein großartiger Ort, der der Zombie-Serie „The Walking Dead“ entsprungen sein könnte … Today I am exploring on my own, an abandoned senior citizens' home that is still absolutely free from vandalism. Originally, however, it wasn't a nursing home for the elderly at all, but a tuberculosis sanatorium - at a time when there were no appropriate antibiotics. The wooded surroundings were ideal for the respiratory tract to relax, the climate was mild and the town a few kilometers downstream was given the title “climatic health resort”. The first sanatorium for lung diseases in southwest Germany was created here almost 100 years ago from a former clinic for alcohol addicts. In the second part of the video, we explore both the top floor and the basement of the building and make some awrseome discoveries. For example, what is hiding in the inconspicuous brown suitcase and what's up with the blue plastic bag? Where do all the flies that we saw in the first part come from? And then there is also a small house right next door that we want to explore as well!
