In this video I demonstrate how to change out and replace a water damaged Multi-Density Fiberboard (MDF) and replace it with a wood baseboard so this problem never happens again. I also talk about what to do to an MDF baseboard to limit the possibilities of this problem occurring again. Due to an unforeseen issue, I had to build this baseboard from scratch. Watch the video and see how I made a replacement baseboard from a piece of wood. I used 2 inch 18 gauge brad nails to secure the baseboard to the wall (1/2 board, 1/2 inch drywall, 1 inch in the stud).
