After it has been vilified in the United States over the past 70 years, the majority of states have finally allowed its legalization for medical use. However, cannabis is still considered illegal on the federal level which prevents many people from gaining access. This is a travesty. This video, a “Brief History of Cannabis in the US” Part 1, deals with the plant’s remote history and gets us to and through the Reagan years.
