I wanted to gain a few more in-depth perspectives about workspace, by learning a few things about where, when we design a workspace, it all begins, since good architecture is at the core of good workspace design. But Space Encounters doesn’t simply design the shells of buildings, they offer the full package - from building architecture to interior architecture and have previously worked together with Judith Baehner from Hetgroenlab (see last week’s video) on a workspace project together. They understand the importance of the elementary details that make up a great office and stand behind the belief that by considering small details about building design, for example, how the windows are integrated, what filtration system they use, etc. can make the whole workspace environment healthier, happier and help workers feel more comfortable and relaxed. Gijs and Stijn and their team, are constantly striving to create the ‘perfect workspace’ for their customers and they were even kind enough to show us some ‘behind the scenes’ of some of the projects they had completed recently.
