This walk, in which people mainly belong to the Shiite sect, continues for approximately 3.4 days and 80 km. Every year, tens of millions of people visit the Prophet Muhammad, who was martyred in Karbala in 50 degree heat. He is walking to commemorate Hüseyin and his companions. While millions of people are walking this 80km, tens of thousands of people give aid, called İhsan, to the people walking on this road. In this journey that lasts days, everything you can think of is offered free of charge.
