Shutter speed testing of the Bronica SQ A

In this video, I test the Bronica SA A medium format camera. The shutter is built into the lens of this model and many models like it. To test the shutter the lens must be in place. Auto exposure should be off, and set the body so that multiple shutter trips can be made without having the film back in place. I found that removing the prism and looking at the ground glass is a great way to line up the light source with the center of the lens. Its best to clamp the light source in place (it can be rubber banded to a block of wood or any small item of the right height) Using the simple shutter test, testing of mulitple speeds can be completed in under 5 minutes WARNING: DO NOT put the light source inside the camera body during testing. It can get caught inside by the film door, leading to camera body damage. Thanks to Chris Mcgeehan for lending me this fine camera.
