I always thought that France produced and still does interesting locomotives and trains. Here are some rare HO models that I occasionally run in the ETE modular layout. The 232.U.1 and autorail Bugatti are work in progress. They will receive better sound decoders sometimes in the future. Enjoy the movie and subscribe to my channel. Note about the "Flèche d'Or": These "brown/cream" cars did run in the same era blue/cream livery. They belonged to the 1926 "Flèche d'Or" a CIWL train which ran between Calais and Paris. Its consist was made of Palor Wagons in which half of them had a galley. So each galley served only 2 wagons. So, in a Flèche d'Or consist with 9 or10 wagons there were 4 galleys! The head of consist had a curious Nord "fourgon trucks"(see on google). Which was an hybrid baggage/postal wagon with flatcar ends to transport containers. Perhaps the first use of containers from ship to train. This consist was first class only until 2 2nd class blue/cream wagons were added in 1932. By the the world was in the Depression. About that time, Nord 231E "Chapelon" started to pull this heavier consist. The streamlined, "Carénée" Nord would not normally pull the Féche d'Or. This locomotive normally was pulling the "Nord Rapide" that had streamlined cars.The 1926 "Flèche d'Or" was pulled by a non streamlined 230K(4-6-0). Around 1930 Southern Railway from England created the correspondent all Pulmann, not CIWL operated "Golden Arrow", which is the English translation of "Flèche d'Or", a luxury train to link London to Dover. Between Dover and Calais, the wealthy passengers of these trains were ferried thru the British Channel. So these "Chocolat & Cream" wagons didn't preceded the blue & cream ones. From 1883 to about 1923 all CIWL had teak wood finish exterior. So, most of them either had clear vanishing or later brow & cream color. In the early CIWL started introduce the steel cars. That is when the blue color wagons became the standard for most CIWL. With exception of "Flèche d"Or" and part of "Taurus Express".
