Glacier Bay is a fantastic national park in southern Alaska that is combined with Wrangell-St. Elias and Kulane National Park in Canada to make a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is difficult to visit and most people only see it via cruise ship. However, we wanted to actually spend some time there so we flew in from Juneau to Glacier Bay National Park and stayed at the lodge. We spent two days hiking around the park and taking a stunning full day boat cruise. From playful sea otters to majestic bald eagles, the park's diverse ecosystem left us in awe of nature's remarkable power and beauty.
