Great cigar with a burn time of 40 minutes. Starts like romeo y julieta no.1, and the 2/3 is very soft and mild, holds the ash well. Hard to put into words the taste but it is incredibly mild, perhaps with occasional notes of licorice but milder. Notes of leather begin to present themselves, still mild. The leather increases and the smoke smells very mild, almost like cotton. Complexity increases and flavors of fresh butter and raw tobacco approach. The last third is ajar and soon the burn has reached the gurdle. The flavor has become slightly more sour but is still mild and can be compared to cream and pastries. The ash is now as long as the cigar. Marzipan becomes the main flavor after the ash has been dropped and now the cigar is guaranteed to be in the last third. As quickly as it came, the marzipan disappeared and now a sweetness is in focus. The mildness remains and makes smoking very pleasant. Flavors of almonds are in harmony with a creamy taste. The last centimeters are left of the cigar and iron can be felt with flavors reminiscent of a classic maduro. Even fall leaves can present themselves with the clean tobacco flavors. The cigar is nearing its end and is going out by itself now, marking the end of the cigar that has otherwise burned perfectly without any need for correction at all. The glow line has been very straight throughout the smoking process making the cigar a joy to smoke. Smoking time was almost exactly 40 minutes, making it perfect for a smoke on this early spring day. Low in nicotine but perfect for me who has a low tolerance. I feel a slight but pleasant nicotine buzz. Even with the low price of the cigar, it gets a 9/10, and even though it’s a short filler. Highly recommended for times when a 40-minute smoke is perfect.
