The SS Atlantic Heritage Park and Interpretation Center is well worth a visit if you're in Nova Scotia. Only about 45 minutes outside of Halifax in the direction of Lunenberg, the park features a museum and tearoom, with the largest collection of artifacts from the disaster, including a couple pieces of my own contribution. On the grounds of the park is the foundation for the old church that Reverend Ancient was pastor of, which burned down in the 1900's, and the Protestant mass grave of victims. The Catholic mass grave is only a short drive down the road. The ship went down about a mile from the museum. People seem to often believe it went down near the gazebo in the park, but you cannot actually see the wreck site from the grounds.
